How to use Midweek’s Race Series for Training:
Use the Midweek Tuesday race series to learn how to race faster, longer and harder.
Those starting the race series should start at the back and then progress up in the group once you have experience, pack senses, and proven you can keep the pace of those at the front.
Due to the nature of the wind at this venue race speeds can get very fast, very quickly and they can slow right down almost as fast. Be prepared for the unexpected. Also watch out for cars.
Feel, free to test and try team and individual race strategies and tactics but please do so safely. Don’t be reckless out there.
What if you are dropped? First, all riders get dropped from time to time so don’t feel bad. Rejoin from the top of the hill on the next lap. You can do this as often as you need to. Very soon you’ll be staying with the group the whole race.
First race participants trying to teach their legs how to go fast by taking laps with the late race are asked to not interfere with late racers and their race’s dynamics.
Reminder: Tired riders have slower reflexes; they cause crashes! If you are tired, please withdraw and enjoy watching the finish.
Weather Conditions/Race Cancellation:
If the weather becomes too rough for a race or the event needs to be cancelled for any reason, we will announce it on twitter and the daily weather banner on this website will be changed by 4:30 PM on the Tuesday afternoon of the race.
